Purpose - The purpose of this site is to provide a method for conveying information concerning Clairemont Bobby Sox Softball to participants and other interested parties.  Information in this site supplements the more conventional methods of information distribution, such as flyers and the League Directory.  It also allows for timely updates concerning Board member's positions, phone numbers, and team standings throughout the season. Design Criteria and Goals - This site has been designed to be compatible with the widest possible range of browsers.  The quantity of graphic elements are kept to a minimum to facilitate loading through slower modem links.  A common color scheme and methodology are employed to provide a consistent look and feel throughout the site. The Site and Tools - This site was created and is maintained using Macromedia's Dreamweaver 2.0, in conjunction with Allaire Corporation's HomeSite 4.0 HTML editor (which is bundled with Dreamweaver). This site is sponsored by Radio Clairemont Mobile Music & DJ Service, a Clairemont community-based business.  The site is hosted by TABNet Website Hosting Services.  The cool baseball field background is used by permission (thanks!) of the author, Carrie Overfield (http://onbase.buffalonet.org or e-mail at carrie@bisons.com). Community - Clairemont is a community within the city of San Diego, located approximately 6 miles north of downtown San Diego, bounded by Interstate 5 to the west, Interstate 805 to the east, State Highway 52 to the north, and the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course to the south.
